I was so excited to be able to stop in Amarillo, TX. To get the full effect we listened to Amarillo Sky while we were there... and got pictures of it!

I had been a long day of driving, starting in Arizona, then through New Mexico and finally making it to Texas.

We had two stops we had to make while we were there. First the Cadillac Ranch and then the AQHA Hall of Fame Museum.

We got to Cadillac Ranch just before the sun went down. For those of you who haven't heard of it, it's a line of ten vintage Cadillacs buried nose-down in a dusty field with cattle roaming around. There are layers and layers and layers of spray paint on the cars. It's a pretty awesome thing to see.

So... I had to share this last picture. It had to be about 15 acres of land covered in spray cans. So kind of people right?

We spent the night and went the the AQHA Hall of Fame the next morning before heading to Dallas. Pictures of Dallas to come!

These are from our stop in Arizona. We got there at about 11pm so we didn't see these until we woke up the next morning. They were one of my favorite things to see.

We stayed two nights, leaving to visit the Grand Canyon in between. Even though these are breathtaking I am a much bigger fan of snowy mountains, cooler temps and fewer bugs.

Somewhere between Las Vegas and Sedona. We had been driving in 100+ degree weather all day and it finally let up and cooled off as the sun went down. Only to about mid 90s, but still.
